God, I die. This is the true soundtrack to my soul. This and ol’ Van Morrison. The coming Christmas season means my mother and I will very soon be weeping over our annual re-watching of “The Glenn Miller Story.” If you haven’t seen it - which is highly likely - you really should. I myself played the trombone in a jazz band, so he’s a bit of a hero in my eyes. But still!
