Hello, there! I’m Kayla. 

I’m a twenty-year-old English student, blogger, writer and overall renaissance woman who lives in the best big little city on the planet - Austin, Texas. I live a sunny little corner north of downtown with a spotted dog and a lot of books. 

When I’m not blogging or studying (usually the latter), you can find me scouring indie bookstores, shopping at Waterloo Records, frequenting coffeeshops, taking yoga classes or trying out new recipes in my avocado green kitchen. I’m a self-described Hermione, being very much an academic - my two great loves are reading and writing. This wee bloggy business serves a creative outlet and window into the sunny life I’m creating.
